MAC HDMI Fast Forward Video Bug
When either steaming or playing a video locally, the video quickly skips forward to the end. One of these processes has helped me remedy the issue in the past.
Option 1
- Go to Finder
- Applications
- Utilities
- Active Monitor
- Change the view to "all processes so you can see coreaudiod
- Close all applications that could play video or audio
- Close coreaudiod
- Restart machine
Option 2
- In Chrome.... Clear cache ( change to "All Time")
- Delete Google profile
- Reboot
- Create Google profile
- Test
